Read x Make
We assigned to read the textbook, Practices of Looking, an Introduction of Visual Culture. Then I design the A2 poster related to what’s the chapter I was reading. My chapter is about Viewer make meaning and I interested in the aesthetic and taste sub-topic. I think the word Kitsch is full of possibilities to make something meaningful than the other words in now Thai politics is going violently to its citizens and to the innocent Child somehow This is the one That Makes and Going to explain through it.
On the date 16th October, the Protestors were fired water to separate the mob and all went go but using umbrella against the government to be front line, to protects others who came without any protection and didn’t notice that the government used this such violence to us, The Teddy Bear was the object I have read through the textbook that represents a historic moment of 911 incident in the United States to cure traumatic of the witness, and showing innocent of the kids who died in 911 as well. I used this idea to create the work of Teddy Bear being protected by The anonymous man from firing water that responds to the fact in news. The 5 years old kids struct among the protest and cannot go home with the Sky train were poisoned by tear gas fired by the government. And questioning that this thing is still Kitsch to our people. To raise to care for other in society more than before.
